It is important to understand that our services constitute consultation as distinct from supervision:
In consultation, the ultimate responsibility for patient care remains with the consulting clinician
There is no set number of required hours as would be the case with formal supervision
As a licensed professional, you are responsible for practicing within your scope of practice and professional standards
Cedar and Oak Psychology consultants provide expertise and guidance, but do not assume legal or clinical responsibility for your patients
You agree to indemnify Cedar and Oak Psychology and hold our clinicians blameless from any and all liabilities concerning your patients
Your acceptance of this consultation agreement acknowledges that you are licensed to practice clinically in a relevant discipline and will maintain and assume all responsibility for your patients.
All clinicians engaging in consultation services will be asked to review and sign our consultation agreement prior to beginning sessions. Please also be prepared to share a copy of your CV and relevant licensure information.

Note: Our consultation services are designed for licensed mental health professionals or those working toward licensure under appropriate supervision. While we provide clinical consultation, the referring clinician maintains primary responsibility for patient care.
