About our practice

Meaning Behind Cedar and Oak:

Cedar and Oak Psychology draws inspiration from the oak and cedar trees, which symbolize strength, wisdom, resilience, and growth. The oak represents the wisdom and stability we provide in our therapeutic work, offering a firm foundation for healing and personal growth. The cedar, known for its resilience, reminds us of our commitment to helping clients build the inner strength to overcome life's challenges. Together, these trees embody our practice's dedication to empowering individuals and professionals through compassionate, evidence-based care, while fostering lasting growth and healing.

Our Values

1. Expertise and Professionalism

We are committed to delivering the highest quality of care, grounded in years of specialized training and clinical experience. Our evidence-based approaches ensure that every client receives care that is scientifically proven to be effective. We are clinicians, but we are also researchers who helped define evidence-based care.

2. Compassionate Care

We approach every interaction with empathy, respect, and an understanding that each person's journey is unique. Our goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel understood and supported, no matter where they are on their path to healing.

3. Personalization and Empowerment

We believe in tailoring our approach to the specific needs and goals of each individual or family. Therapy, training, and consultation are all designed to empower clients and professionals to make positive, sustainable changes.

4. Collaborative Growth

Whether in therapy, training, or consultation, we work alongside our clients and colleagues to foster growth and learning. We view therapy as a collaborative partnership where clients and professionals are active participants in their development and success.

5. Innovation and Leadership

As leaders in the field of addiction treatment, mental health, neuroscience, and professional development, we are dedicated to continuously refining our practice. We offer cutting-edge approaches that draw from the latest research and decades of hands-on experience, ensuring that our clients receive the most effective care possible.
